Looking for full- and part-time counselors for Pacific Ridge Residential Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center, near Salem OR. This is a great job for the counselor who wants to work with addicts and their families in a quiet setting out in the country. Our clients mostly come from the private sector, wanting help. Counselors have small caseloads so they can provide personalized care.
Job requires a certified drug and alcohol counselor. Only applicants who are certified will be considered.
Work shift is evenings and weekends, typically noon-9 pm.
No drug, alcohol, cannabis, or nicotine use permitted, on or off the job (this includes no CBD, nicotine patches, vaping, gum, etc.). No exceptions for occasional use. This is a strict requirement; please don't apply if you use any of these substances. In addition, people in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.
