Baskin Robbins on Market Street in Salem is seeking a skilled cake decorator to join our team. Preference is given to bilingual (Spanish) applicants with at least one year experience in Cake decorating, and even higher consideration is given to anybody with prior successful experience making cakes for a commercial business. Hours are TBA, starting as a part-time position but may grow as our company has aggressive future expansion in mind. Preferred candidates will be able to:
- Frost, build and decoration of ice cream cakes, according to franchise and our company’s standards
- Be creative, helpful and welcoming to all our customers
- Effectively meet deadlines, be flexible and willing to work extra hours during high-demand times (e.g. Mother’s Day, etc)
- Be effective in training and monitoring the success of said training for Crew Members (front-line staff) to accomplish designated duties (e.g. cake building)
- Monitor and participate in development of an effective inventory system for cake supplies
- Able enough with computers to use the “Photocake” printing system
