We’re currently seeking to hire part time for FOH / BOH position at our small pizzaria shop located downtown Salem Oregon - must have Food Handlers permit and some relevant experience working in the food industry.
Although our operation is small - our attention to detail is key in our shop - we keep our team close knit and expect to produce top quality product while keeping a professional/ clean / fun environment.
This position will require someone that can work all stations and will be cross trained to do so.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your passion for food and commitment to customer satisfaction will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional pizza experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
Utilize kitchen equipment, including knives and ovens, with care and precision.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Handle catering orders as needed, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food items.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding menu items.
Experience
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food service or kitchen roles, is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food safety practices and meal preparation techniques is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
