Selectemp is currently looking for Cooks to join a leading foodservice provider serving the world’s leading educational institutions, Fortune 500 companies, world champion sports teams, prominent healthcare providers, iconic destinations and cultural attractions and numerous municipalities in 19 countries around the world.CooksPay Rate Range:
$13.50/hr - $16.00 hrWork Schedule:
Varies Depending on positionJob Duties:
-Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
-Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
-Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
-Safely utilize a variety of utensils including knifes
-Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, etc.
-Bake, roast, broil, steam and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
-Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines
-Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
-Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
-Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
-Adheres to company safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
