We are looking for seasonal (April to November, Thursday–Sunday) Beertenders at TopWire Hop Project! Located in Woodburn, OR, we pour beer out of a converted shipping container in the middle of hop fields at Crosby Hop Farm. Our family and dog friendly beer garden brings in beer lovers from PDX, Salem and beyond! Our tap list showcases the amazing beverages our clientele create using our hops. During harvest season rub elbows with some of the best brewers in the world as they pick out their hop selections.

The Beertender position is responsible for serving beer, wine, and cider in a fast paced, outdoor environment as well as educating customers about hops and the Crosby brand family. The ideal candidate is a lover of craft beer, has a great attitude, loves people, and is excited to learn more about hops and the beer making process.

Primary Duties:

Sells beverages, merchandise, and collects money from customers

Educates visitors about hops by sharing our history, values, and process

Provides excellent customer service to all guests

Adheres to all OLCC requirements

Keeps the beer cooler, merchandise stand, and shelves well stocked

Maintains cleanliness of beer garden, glassware, restrooms, and surrounding area

Sets up and breaks down bar and beer garden furniture

Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance

Works collaboratively in a team environment with a “yes-first” spirit of cooperation

Qualifications:

Must be motived, trustworthy, willing to learn, and passionate about hops and craft beer.

Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

Ability to work nights, weekend, and holidays are a must.

Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) Server license required.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Compensation is HOURLY PLUS TIPS. Benefits include a merch stipend, employee discounts, a shift drink, beer education, opportunities for advancement within Crosby Hops, cute doggos, and lots of fresh air.
