Rogue Pub General Managers are experienced in all facets of guest service, including day to day restaurant operations, both front-of-house and heart-of-house, as well as special events; the Pub General Manager is an energetic and creative leader, and the center of the brand, staff, and guest experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all day to day pub operations, both front-of-house and heart-of-house, as well as special events
Effectively train, mentor, develop, schedule, and motivate staff to increase retention, create a positive work environment and provide the best guest service
Responsible for staff coaching, accountability, proper documentation, and necessary corrective action
Inventory management, cash management, labor management
Manage the forecasted budget, control costs and increase revenue & profitability in all departments
Complete and manage all administrative and accounting details for the pub
Ensure the responsible service of alcoholic beverages
Ensure quality of guest service at all levels / provide the utmost hospitable guest experience
Manage the staff and brand through required high functioning floor presence
Serve in multiple hands-on support roles in order to maximize effectiveness, increase sales, and raise brand awareness with both guests and staff
Responsible for upholding all pub operational standards and successful completion of any operation delegations to staff members
Communicate effectively with team members, guests, peers & management
Support the utmost cleanliness & adherence of safety protocols
Help ensure the success of pub hosted promotions and events and local offsite events
Create a positive work environment and foster an energy of hustle throughout the pub
Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experienceExperience: Previous experience in leadership; increasing restaurant management, with proven resultsRequired skills: Strong leadership skills, proficient in restaurant operations, excellent communication, patient thoughtful teacher, attention to detail, self-motivated, creative problem solving.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
