The intent of the Small Wins team is twofold: first for our customers to participate in our development cycle and get immediate value from enhancements that will save them time better spent on building relationships with students and differentiating instruction; and second for our PVS teams to build relationships with our schools, understand their problems and opportunities, and appreciate how they are using our curriculum to better inform the broader Product and Technology roadmap. In addition to the content architecture and integration analyst, the PVS Small Wins team is comprised of a product manager, a solutions manager, content developers, an assurance analyst, and an instructional designer.Role Description:Working from home or from one of Pearson’s US-based offices, the content architecture and integration analyst is the Small Wins subject matter expert for the Pearson Authoring and Content Ecosystem (PACE) tools. The analyst ensures consistent and effective use of PACE tools for the development and integration of content assets, and the assembly, production, and maintenance of courses. As a member of the Small Wins team, the content architecture and integration analyst will participate in design-thinking sprints to identify and prioritize “small win” work, to develop the “small wins,” and to test, validate, and deliver the “small wins” to our school customers.Responsibilities :

Subject-matter expert for use of PACE tools for content development, integration, production, distribution, and maintenance ecosystem (ex. Cypress, Alfresco, Elm)

Develops and executes workflows for integrating content into various authoring tools and platforms

Input lesson and assessment content into various authoring tools according to formatting guidelines and standards created by the Curriculum Development team

Recommends updates to existing standards to accommodate the needs of upcoming products and changes in production processes and tools; identifies how those standards are to be applied to new products; organizes testing efforts; documents best practices

Evaluates whether current standards are enabling desired outcomes and adapts as needed to maintain and improve efficacy of content

Business owner advocating for prioritization and development of software and content features required to enhance customer experience with existing and future content strategies

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Minimum 3 years content architecture and integration experience, including experience creating, assembling, delivering, and managing digital assets and products

Working knowledge of content production methodologies with projects focused on education, curriculum and training development and production

Ability to work closely with content and software development teams while exhibiting fluent understanding of curriculum products, curriculum assets, and instructional design

Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and proven ability to collaborate with product management teams

Working knowledge of asset and content authoring and management including online publishing and production, product development and delivery, production workflow systems, content lifecycle management, and asset storage and management

Demonstrates excellent verbal and writing skills

Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Educational Management Systems

Technologically proficient with Microsoft® Office, Azure Dev Ops, Google Suite, and ability to learn other software programs and technology platforms quickly

Must enjoy a challenging work environment that requires flexibility, self-direction, creativity, strong communication, and organizational skills

As required by Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado and New York City. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
