The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a productive and pleasant work environment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and improving processes to increase organizational efficiency.
Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of office management systems and be proficient in office software such as QuickBooks, MS Excel, and Word. Ultimately, the Office Manager will ensure our office functions smoothly, promoting a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee office operations, serving as the primary point of contact for office management tasks such as maintenance, supplies, equipment, and errands.
Manage accounts payable/receivable, billing from construction contracts, lien waivers, and payroll, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
Coordinate the layout and upkeep of the office, ordering necessary stationery and equipment and arranging repairs as needed.
Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies, supporting employee onboarding.
Ensure all invoices are processed and paid on time, maintaining accurate financial reporting.
Plan and organize internal and external company events, such as team celebrations, conferences, and training sessions.
Provide general support to visitors, acting as the welcoming face of the company.
