Looking for a long term fire watchman to stay on our job site. Applicants must have his or her own self contained trailer, a valid driver's license, and be physically able to perform fire watch duties.

Responsibilities and Duties
You are required to be on the job when the crew leaves for the day.
If the logging side is not visible from your trailer you are required to do the following:
a. Weekdays - (before "official" fire season is in effect) physically make one round to logging side before dark, after the crew has left for the day.
b. Weekends, Holidays, and Fire Closures - you are required to be on duty 24 hours per day and physically make rounds to logging side once every 3 hours until dark.
Thoroughly patrol and observe the job site for fire, each operating day for 3 hours after the equipment has shut.
Have your own living accommodations (trailer, camper, etc.) and the ability to relocate to new assigned jobsites.
It is your responsibility to keep your animals under control and on a leash if necessary.
Have company radio in or near your vehicle and on at all times.
Prohibit all unauthorized travel in the area. Any travel other than employees in performance of their jobs must be by written permit.
The first and primary duty of the Fire Watchman is to be alert for fire and to immediately and accurately report it, then make every reasonable effort to suppress the fire.
