Position: Certified Flagger
Location: Glide, Oregon
Schedule: Monday- Friday & On call.
Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour
These assignments can be sporadic and of short duration
This job starts on August 26th for one day at 6 hours, more assignments will follow as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Traffic Control: Control and direct traffic in and around construction work zones to ensure the safety of workers and motorists.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and provide your own flagging equipment, including paddles, vests, and other required gear.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines related to flagging.
Communication: Effectively communicate with construction crews and other flaggers to coordinate traffic control efforts.
On-Call Availability: Be available for on-call assignments as needed. Usually at least 24 hours in advance notice
Requirements:
Valid Flagger's Card: Possess a valid flaggers card issued by the appropriate authorities.
Own Equipment: Must have your own flagging equipment, including paddles, reflective vest, and any other necessary gear.
Reliability: Be punctual and reliable for on-call assignments.
Safety Awareness: Prioritize safety and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure the safe flow of traffic.
