Provides information and instruction to patient, family and/or significant other.
Performs in-depth patient assessments.
Provides patient education in coughing and deep breathing. Begins post-op education.
Demonstrates airway management.
Shift: 6:45am - 5:15pmCore Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thu, FriThis position requires on call with a 30 minute response time.QualificationsLicense/Certifications:
State of Oregon RN License
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers within 30 days of hire
ACLS withing 6 months of hire
AORN PeriOp 101 within 6 months of hire, completion of this course is preferred
CNOR preferred
Experience:
1 year RN Experience
1 year of experience within the last 3 years in an accute care setting preferred
Completion of OR Residency preferred
Previous OR or invasive procedural experience preferred
