Job Title: Automation EngineerJob DescriptionAs an Automation Engineer, your day would be dynamic and engaging, focusing on both technical and customer-facing tasks. You would start your day with a team meeting to discuss ongoing projects, sales targets, and new customer inquiries, ensuring alignment with the engineering and project management teams. Following this, you would review emails and respond to customer inquiries, providing technical support and setting up meetings with potential clients. Collaboration with the engineering team would be a key part of your role, ensuring that customer requirements are met and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You would work with AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and simulation tools like RobotStudio to design new robotic systems and test prototypes. Maintaining strong customer relationships is crucial, so you would follow up with customers to provide additional information and address any concerns. Internal reporting on sales activities, project progress, and customer feedback would keep the management team informed about the status of various projects and sales efforts.Responsibilities

The small engineering team consists of 10 people who get along well and are looking for someone to continue to add to and grow their organization. The work environment includes a shop area with temperature control and office areas for engineering work. The team operates with an owner's mentality and values strong communication skills and technical understanding. This job offers a flexible onsite/hybrid work arrangement, allowing for remote work but requiring onsite presence for factory testing.
