Description:Our national general contracting client is seeking a Travel Superintendent that will be responsible for interfacing with owners, architects, the city and subcontractors from construction commencement through turnover and closeout around the United States on the high-end retail construction project team. The Superintendent's main focus is to manage the schedule, quality and safety in order to keep the project moving forward quickly and efficiently. Oversee project from inception to completion to ensure a perfect closeout Organize, lead and monitor daily activities of entire project team (trade partners, vendors, laborers, etc.) Communicate effectively with team, trade partners, owners, architects, and clients Set up & facilitate progress meetings Ensure project complies with requirements and established standards Create, monitor and meet project schedules Maintain project budget Prepare and submit paperwork (Permits, licenses, change orders, etc.) Maintain a safe and clean job site (and site office)Skills:Construction management, Superintendent, retail construction, Construction, Commercial construction, Construction supervision, General contractor, Subcontractor management, Ground up, Project management, Osha 30, Rfi, Site construction, Construction safetyTop Skills Details:Construction management, Superintendent, retail constructionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVES:-3+ years of "high-end" retail construction experience-2+ years as seasoned traveler and have the ability to travel 75% of time or more-Project experience with interior renovations, ground-up, established malls and new mall environments, renovation work in occupied and unoccupied environments, urban and suburban work locations-Experience with MS Office Suite, including MS ProjectBONUS QUALIFICATIONS:-10 Years of Superintendent experience-Bachelors degree in Construction Management or similar degree-OSHA 30 hour-CPR / First Aid / AED Training-Lead / Asbestos Awareness-LEED Accreditation-Storm Water CertificationExperience Level:Expert LevelAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
