All Star Labor and Staffing is hiring for a Skilled Irrigation Sprinkler Tech for a Sprinkler Company in the Tualatin area.
The ideal candidate either has Maintenance/ Installation, Inground Irrigation, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler, HVAC experience is a PLUS!
This position is mainly designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems, including sprinklers, pipes, valves, and controllers, to ensure efficient water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscapes across residential and commercial settings.
(Must have a Valid Driver’s license)
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
- Installing new irrigation systems, including laying pipes, placing sprinklers heads, setting up controllers and connecting water sources.
Maintenance:
- Regularly inspecting systems for leaks, clogged sprinkler heads, malfunctioning valves, and damaged wiring.
Repairs:
- Fixing leaks, replacing faulty components like sprinkler heads, valves or pipes and adjusting system setting as needed.
Troubleshooting:
- Diagnosing issues with irrigation systems and identifying the root cause of problems.
Customer Service:
- Communicating with clients regarding system needs, scheduling appointments and explaining maintenance procedures.
Skills needed for the job:
- Knowledge of irrigation system components (pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, controllers)
- Understanding of hydraulics and water pressure.
- Must know how to use Technology (navigate apps for scheduled routes, work orders and invoices etc.)
- Using basic tools (shovel, hacksaw, wire cutter, wrenches and simple adjustment tools)
- Ability to read blueprints and site plans
-Basic electrical knowledge for wiring controllers
- Good communication and customer service skills
Schedule/ Pay:
Monday – Thursday 7:30am-5pm (10 hr shifts)
Pay ranges - $22-$26 Plus Depending on experience
