Service Electrician - (Portland Metro Areas)
Parkin Electric was established in 1945, and is a respected, progressive merit shop electrical contractor based in Oregon City operating throughout the Portland/Vancouver Metro Areas.
We are seeking a licensed Oregon General Journeyman to join our team. We have long term employment for motivated and qualified people to perform Residential, Commercial and Industrial electrical work.
This position requires a confident, courteous, NEC/OESC knowledgeable professional who is an organized self-starter able to work safely and independently, troubleshooting, repairing and installing various electrical systems and equipment. Residential and Commercial generator installation experience would be appreciated!

Candidates must possess a current Oregon General Journeyman (J) electrical license (the addition of a Washington EL-01 license preferred) or General Limited Residential (LR) electrical license; strong safety/work ethics, good communication, customer service skills, a high standard for work quality, have a positive attitude, clean driving record and be dependable/reliable/punctual. OSHA 10 Hour certification preferred.
Oregon also has reciprocity agreements for those individuals with General Journeyman (J) licenses from the following states:
