We are looking for a driven and motivated Lead/Master Technician to help grow our team. Your job is to set an example, mentor others, and work independently while doing major and minor repairs, performing road tests to diagnose problems and completing maintenance tasks.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

Mentor and help out other technicians. Assist them with their skills, providing technical support when needed, and monitoring performance and productivity

Confer with service advisors or customer to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discussing work to be performed

Quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance and service. Identify the cause of defects, trouble-shoot and repair them using the most optimal solutions and efficiency

Document work performed and recommended on the repair order

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy

Road test customer vehicles

Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers

Ensure that customers’ vehicles are kept clean and undamaged

Keep shop area and workspace neat and clean all times

Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

Experience with diagnostic and drive ability repairs including but not limited to engine, brakes, electrical, heating and A/C

Excel in the area of diagnostic

Certifications a plus

Communicate a positive attitude towards customers and team mates

Team oriented and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service

Other Requirements:

Positive attitude

Basic computer skills

Have valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Must supply own tools (special/job-specific tools and equipment provided by us)

Be able to stand for long periods of time
