Key Responsibilities:
As a Journeyman Electrician with our company, you will:
· Lead by Example: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities by setting high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency on the job.
· Show Intelligence in Problem-Solving: Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot and solve electrical issues with precision and efficiency.
· Be a Self-Starter: Take initiative and ownership of projects, working independently when needed to ensure tasks are completed successfully.
· Regular Duties such as:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Perform electrical installations according to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide recommendations for improving electrical systems and processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
· Journeyman Electrician License: Hold a valid journeyman electrician license.
· Proven Leadership Skills: Showcase a track record of leading teams or projects effectively.
· Intelligence in Electrical Work: Possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
· Self-Starting Attitude: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and take charge of projects.
· Positive Mindset: Maintain a positive attitude even in challenging situations, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Additional Skills:
· Customer Acquisition: Bring industry contacts or a willingness to learn how to expand our customer base and contribute to the growth of the company.
· Effective Communication: Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and management.
· Industrial Controls Expertise: Ability to work on industrial controls without prints, familiarity with ladder logic, and understanding of process controls OR willingness to learn. (Please don't let this deter you from applying if you don't have this experience)
· Technological Aptitude: Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite and basic online platforms.
