We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Residential Retrofit Installer to join our team. As an HVAC Residential Retrofit Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in existing residential homes. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities:

Installation of HVAC systems in existing homes according to blueprints, specifications, and local building codes.

Fabricate, install, and connect ductwork systems to ensure proper airflow and distribution throughout the home, while adhering to industry standards.

Perform thorough testing and inspection of HVAC systems after installation to ensure proper functionality, efficiency, and safety.

Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation and implement effective solutions to ensure the quality and integrity of the HVAC systems.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of work performed, including equipment used, hours worked, and any modifications made during the installation process.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and safety guidelines related to HVAC installation and construction.

Possess knowledge of HVAC equipment, including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split/ductless systems, and ventilation systems.

Communicate professionally with homeowners and address any questions or concerns they may have regarding the HVAC installation process.

Uphold high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the installation process to deliver reliable and efficient HVAC systems.

Qualifications:

3+ years in HVAC residential retrofit installation experience.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in HVAC installation

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Ability to stand and walk for 6 – 7 hours per day.

Valid driver’s license.

A good driving record is needed as you will be provided with a company van.

CFC certification.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Willingness to learn and develop new skills through training provided by the company.

Physical Demands: bending, reaching, stooping, walking, sitting, crawling, squatting. Holding, carrying objects and lifting – including heavy objects such as equipment up to 300 pounds. Use of tools and equipment such as hand tools and ladders, including extension ladders.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week.

Experience:

HVAC installation: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification: EPA 608 Type 2 required. NATE certification a plus. Driver's License required.
