Thriving excavation company in Ridgefield, Washington is seeking a highly motivated individual!
We are currently seeking a full time Heavy Equipment Technician with potential for advancement and growth with the company. The ideal candidate must be motivated with their work as well as being overly communicative and willing to learn and develop their skills. Would also have experience with hydraulic and electrical systems diagnostics, be detail oriented, honest and carry out tasks safely, professionally and in a clean manner. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Position expectations:
Perform minor and major repairs on equipment, possibly on vehicles as well.
Perform diagnostic tests using both mechanical and computer related tools.
Maintain high level of communication with manager and field personnel.
Document accurate records of each repair and maintenance performed.
Maintain cleanliness in workspace and of assigned vehicle.
Must have valid driver’s license, CDL A/B with hazmat and tanker endorsements is a plus.
Must also have your own set of tools for heavy equipment repair. Specialized tools ( computer and plug-in for multiple brands, 1” impact ) have been acquired by us for the shop team’s use.
We operate Monday-Friday with some Saturday’s. The ideal candidate would be available to work 40-50 hours per week.
