NW Employment is partnered with a Veteran owned Heavy Equipment manufacturing company in Sherwood, OR, and we are looking to add Final Assembly Mechanics to join our team!
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2:30pm
Pay: Based upon experience
What you will do:
This person will build, assemble, install, and repair company Products such as Winch, Logstackers, Chip Dozers, Marine Cranes, Long Reach Forklift Attachments, and Balers.
Qualifications:
· 2+ year of experience in a heavy industrial or mechanic environment (this is not an assembly-line type shop)
· Successful candidates should be able to Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
· Ability to rig loads with jib cranes, chains, ropes and overhead cranes.
· Experience installing assemblies in supportive framework according to blueprints.
· Must be able to inspect assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications.
· Ability to adapt and work across multiple product lines as necessary.
· Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
· Experience with Hydraulics and/or Electrical is preferred
· Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
NICE TO HAVE tools but not required: 3/8 and ½” drive socket wrenches, open end wrenches up to 2”, screwdrivers, allen wrenches, hammers, pliers, tri square, nut drivers, off set wrenches, die grinder, impacts, etc.
