WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are a custom home technology integration company in need of an experienced and licensed low voltage technician to join our installation team. We are a premiere industry player dealing in a wide variety of high end and luxury design projects throughout the Portland metro area and greater Oregon, in addition to southern WA. We are seeking a rockstar install tech with the skills to flawlessly execute quality work and a desire to advance quickly into a leadership position within our install team. We are willing to train the right person, though strong preference will be given to candidates with some familiarity with the wiring and installation of the products and technologies utilized in our projects, including:

- Lutron lighting and control systems (low voltage only)

- Motorized shades/drapes/window treatments

- LED tape light

- Landscape lighting

- Savant, Crestron, and Control4 control systems

- Wired and wireless network equipment

- Distributed audio/video equipment and home theater systems

- Rough-in and trim out/termination of structured low voltage wiring in both new construction and retro/remodels

The ideal candidate is organized and has top notch verbal and written communication skills. Ideally you would also be proficient with tools like email and mobile apps such as Dropbox and Slack. You should be a self starter with an eye for details who can work independently and is ambitious about troubleshooting problems and finding solutions without waiting on someone to tell you what to do. At the same time you need to be a team player who works well in a group environment and knows how to both give and take direction and feedback when collaborating with your co-workers. Again, we are looking for a leader.

WHAT WE OFFER:

- Completive starting pay of $30-$35/hr depending on experience/skill set, in addition to regular raises based on performance

- Monday-Friday work schedule

- Company provided tools and apparel

- Company work vehicle

- Paid time off that increases based on tenure

- Health Insurance that includes dental and vision

- 401K with employer match

- Profit sharing paid out twice a year

- Paid accommodations and generous per diem on all overnight out of town work

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Our office and warehouse are located in Beaverton. While our projects can vary in size and scope, the majority are multi-system installations for high end new construction and remodeled luxury residential homes. We mostly stay in the Portland metro area, but also frequently do work further out towards the coast and southern Washington and go east as far as the Hood River area. Occasionally we work on projects as far South as Brookings and Southeast as Bend. So availability and willingness for occasional out-of-town work is expected in this position, but with compensation via paid accommodations and daily per diem.

Our install work spans getting your hands dirty with prewires and rough-in work to the finesse and technical detail of white-glove finish installs in occupied homes. You will need to be able to present a professional attitude and appearance while working in any of these types of situations. You must ensure all work is completed correctly and with care and consideration for your surroundings and our clients property and expectations. Our work requires frequently climbing on ladders and going into crawl spaces and attics.

We are a workplace that values work life balance and strives to foster an environment where all employees are respected and able to voice their opinions, feedback and concerns. If you have the skills and work ethic we are looking for and want to work somewhere dynamic with opportunity for professional growth, please respond to this ad with your resume and some info on why you would be a good fit for this position.

- Proficiency in the use of the specialty hand tools and basic power tools needed for low voltage installation work
