D&T Excavation is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing with carpentry knowledge and a keen eye for detail. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for smoothing, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces on various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Pour, smooth and finish surfaces of concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, curbs, or planter walls.
Build and teardown forms required for the job.
Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete.
Perform duties as directed by the project manager or foreman.
Ensure all work is completed safely and adheres to the project specifications and company standards.
Collaborate with other team members on site to deliver high-quality results.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role.
Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
Common knowledge of ADA ramps.
Basic carpentry skills and knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation to various job sites across the Portland Metro Area and beyond
