The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong work ethic. All tools provided.
Job Responsibilities
· Work with a two-person team to provide various carpentry services, specifically wood window repair, in residential homes.
· Change out different replicated window components (i.e., sash, glass, sills, trim, etc.) produced by our fab shop
· Provide the services of dry rot repair, glass replacement, operational repair, glazing, etc.
· Read work orders and fully grasp requirements
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
· Carpentry skills
· Glazing skills
· Knowledge of power tools, painting, and caulking skills
· Willingness to always follow safety guidelines
· Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
· Basic math skills to accurately measure specifications
· Provide excellent customer service
· The ability to use your time productively and efficiently
· Dependable and strong work ethic
· Good physical condition and endurance as materials sometimes exceed 50+ pounds
· Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift heavy objects
· Driver’s License
Preferred:
· 4 years’ experience in carpentry
· 3 years’ experience in glazing
· Familiarity with windows and/or glazing
