Factory Trained Auto Technician

Pay is correlated to your experience and certifications. $20 per hour for entry-level Factory Certified Technicians and up to $50 per flat rate hour for Master Certified Ford Technicians. A motivated technician can easily make a high six-figure salary.

On-the-job training and continuing education is supported and paid for by Gresham Ford. Other OEM course credits are eligible to transfer to the Ford ASSET program and certification.

Become a Ford Auto Technician

As a Technician, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring optimal functionality within the organization. Reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge, schematics, and facilities maintenance to address technical issues. Your premium skills in programmable logic controllers and electrical experience will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and leadership will contribute to a collaborative work environment. What You Bring To The Table

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.

Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Utilize programmable logic controllers and electrical tools for advanced diagnostics.

Supervise maintenance tasks and coordinate with team members to enhance workflow.

Maintain accurate records using Dealer Track DMS and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Obtain and maintain certifications to uphold industry standards.

What We Expect

Strong mechanical knowledge and facilities maintenance skills

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics

Experience with programmable logic controllers and welding

Electrical experience and familiarity with Ohmmeter usage

Excellent communication skills in English

Relevant certifications such as Ford Certification and ASE Certification

Leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing or customer service environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
