We are based out of Ridgefield, WA and regularly travel throughout the United States.
We are seeking an Entry-Level / Apprentice to join our team as a Professional Installer
Key Responsibilities
Light carpentry - Variety of tasks involving the minor repair, replacement, and installation of wood, wallpaper, vinyl features at the jobsite location
Using power tools in a safe and proficient manner, in accordance with jobsite safety procedures and protocols
Utilizing math for carpentry and construction, reading tape measures and lasers to perform job tasks
Using forklifts to unload deliveries, stacking boxes for storage and moving pallets around the jobsite
Interface with client representatives with regards to project conditions, changes, coordination issues, safety, and schedules
Work in a cooperative manner with Tradewinds employees and clients
Working Conditions
Regular travel throughout the United States, to include jobsites in the local Portland/Vancouver area
Physical working conditions include regular walking, bending, heavy-lifting, working in cramped spaces, and exposure to high-places like ladders and scaffolding

Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills
Physical demands: ability to sit, stand, lift, and climb ladders/scaffolding as needed
General knowledge of construction principles / practices
General knowledge and experience with light carpentry tools
Active driver’s license and ability to rent a vehicle while travelling to the jobsite
Passport needed
Additional Information
$25-$30 per hour DOE
All travel expenses fully paid, including daily per-diem for food expenses, hotel, auto
