Our 80 unit apartment community in Scappoose, Oregon needs a full-time maintenance technician to provide quality maintenance/repairs for our residents. Technicians will work alongside a team of qualified, trained associates.
Qualified candidates should have skills and experience in a variety of maintenance disciplines, including painting, minor plumbing & electric, drywall, changing light fixtures, etc.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks on building facilities and equipment and have a strong background in maintenance and repair. Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Job Description:
Maintenance/Repair - Daily Operations
Conduct advance maintenance and repairs on building facilities and equipment including rough and finish carpentry, drywall & patching, painting, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Demonstrate a high level of competence in two or more trades and the desire and drive to learn more
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with equipment and systems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks completed and identify areas for improvement
Communicate with management and other departments to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed according to company standards
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Manage and Conduct Work Professionally
Manage compliance with company procedures
Manage and conduct own work in compliance with OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, Landlord / Tenant Acts/Local, State and Federal laws
Maintain tools, vehicles and other related corporate owned equipment
When directed by supervisor, work within team environment on ‘as-assigned’ special projects
Housing credit available
