This probably overly ambitious project is UNPAID, FREE, FOR FUN/XP, NO MONEY. Fair warning! The humor gets pretty dark and twisted. We've scared a lot of candidates away so far. No, it's NOT porn!
As of this writing, we need cast members who at least VAGUELY RESEMBLE the following:
1. Male, 50-60, Danny DeVito (Mitch)
2. Chloe Sevigny/Jessica Harper, anywhere in between, 18-25, badass. (Denise)
3. A nerdy male, any race, appx 40-50 (James)
4. Male, appx 25-35, black, built like a brick shithouse (Maxwell)
5. Any gender, “tweaker” age/race = any (tweaker)
I have already garnered an amazing team of enthused cast and crew, meeting when we can, usually weekends. Let me know if you want to audition! First shoot already scheduled for May 19th, will ALSO NEED EXTRAS! Holler if you look like a concert-going weirdo. Haha.
The May 19th shoot will involve 2 scenes. First, a crappy garage goth/punk band. Second, kind of a colorful sensory overload like The Residents meets Ministry in a Les Claypool fever dream. Maybe you can come dig it?
I realize this is a tall order, but if you or anyone you know fits any of these, hit me up. It's a very ridiculous, messy, wacky, “out there” screenplay, my FIRST EVER ATTEMPT at a full feature. See if it doesn't scare you away.
