Busy integrative medical clinic in the southeast Belmont neighborhood. We are primary care focused and accept most major medical, Medicaid, worker's compensation and MVA.
Wages/contract: Negotiable based on experience.
Works closely with medical biller, bookkeeper, and management to ensure timely appeals on denied insurance claims
Ability to follow patients through EHR system
Maintain patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA laws, knowledge of OSHA
Assist patients in finding the right provider within our practice- we work collaboratively when appropriate
Able to navigate an EHR, Practice Fusion or similar module
Accurately and thoroughly document visits as they are being performed by the provider, including but not limited to:
Patient medical history and physical exam,
Procedures and treatments performed by the provider
Patient education and explanations of risks and benefits.
Provider-dictated diagnoses, prescriptions and instructions for patient or family members for self-care and follow-up
Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
Comply with HIPAA confidentiality standards when accessing or communicating patient information.
Required:
1) Candidate will need to have an understanding of Commercial Insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
2) At least 1 year experience in obtaining prior authorizations or medical billing experience
3) At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, massage therapy setting
5) Able to use apple computers
6) Able to pass a medical level background check.
Preferred: Experience working in an integrative medical setting with an emphasis on complete primary medical care, including emergent medical needs. Experience with Mac computer system knowledgeable. Self-motivated time management appreciated.
We are looking for a contractor- we can fill a practice in 3-6 months. Our last provider was booked from in-house referrals within 3 months. We highly value fascia work and this modality is a significant part of our care rendered at our integrative primary care clinic.
