We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Massage Clinic Receptionist/Medical Billing Specialist. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth clinic operations, managing client flow, and handling all front desk and medical billing responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess previous medical office experience, including expertise in insurance verification and billing, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling appointments.
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address client inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Manage client check-in and check-out processes, including processing payments.
Rebook clients for future appointments.
Medical Billing and Insurance Verification:
Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records.
Knowledge of medical billing terminology, and procedures.
Client Flow Management:
Ensure a smooth and efficient client flow throughout the clinic.
Communicate effectively with massage therapists to coordinate appointments and client needs.
Proactively address any potential delays or issues that may impact client experience.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate client records and files.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
Manage inventory of office supplies.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a 1 medical office setting
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20-30 per week with room for growth
