Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) Needed for Wellness Studio

Oregon, Portland, 97201 Portland USA
Aplica ya

Who We Are: House Nine! We are a wellness studio in inner SE Portland (lower Hawthorne). We are professionals who take their work seriously but value a community feel in the workplace. We have been open since 2015 and have a steady return clientele and many new clients each week. We are treatment-focused but encourage each practitioner to explore and express their personal style. Some of the modalities we currently offer include Ashiatsu, CranioSacral, Hot Stone, Thai, Lymphatic Drainage, Oncology, and Cupping. We are LMT & WOC-owned, socially conscious, and welcoming of all bodies and identifications. Our team is down-to-earth, professional, and dedicated to our clients. Herbal infusions are a big part of the culture at House Nine and are curated in-house by an herbalist.

We are a team-based community, meaning we have collective daily and monthly business goals. We always strive for business transparency, including finances, and someone interested in behind-the-scenes operations is preferred. We are looking for someone who can hold business-minded values and goals in one hand and confident, holistic, exceptional client care in the other. We laugh a lot and hold deep reverence for each other.

The Studio: Our space is bright and airy. We sell plants, so there is lots of greenery. We have four treatment rooms and provide hot towel cabinets, HEPA filters, music (Spotify + speaker), fan, space heater, dimmable lighting, table warmers, etc.

Shifts we are currently looking for:

Wednesdays 3pm-8pm

Thursdays 10am-3pm or 3pm-8pm

Fridays 3pm - 8pm

Saturdays 2pm-6pm

You must work at least 3 shifts per week, but more is preferred.

Who You Are: Someone dedicated to their practice who has experience building and maintaining clientele. You are expected to develop relationships and long-term care plans to keep your clients returning. You must be comfortable recommending home care and retail products to clients. Our retail is curated by an LMT in collaboration with the practitioners. You are punctual, communicative, tidy, and mindful of shared spaces. We expect you to have a healthy balance of independence and collaboration. You are trauma-sensitive/informed, empathetic, and attentive to all clients who come to see you.

What We Offer: A safe, clean, aesthetically pleasing workspace with a great community. We don’t have any caps on days off. We offer discounts on retail, free monthly massage services, manual hydraulic tables, a floor Thai mat, a free cup of tea per shift, full linen service, scheduling, front desk staff, & packages to help your clients return to you! We reward hard work and strive to support your individual growth and the growth of the collective.

Job Types: Employee Part-time

Pay: 40% commission + tips

COVID-19 considerations:

We are a mask-optional facility. Clients can choose whether they want their practitioner to wear a mask. You must wear a mask during your session if this preference is chosen.
