We are seeking an engaged Sales Manager to help us grow our business while helping you achieve the growth you’ve been looking for in your sales career.

This is a brand new role with the company, giving you a tremendous opportunity to shape our sales practices and processes in the future, and potentially grow as a leader. In this position you will use your relationship selling experience to follow up on leads generated by our marketing activities as well as connecting with returning customers. There is NO COLD CALLING and we represent some of the top manufacturers in the industry. The ideal fit is a master of building trust and identifying upsell opportunities that align with customer wants and needs.

Responsibilities

Meet with potential customers to assess their needs and recommend appropriate garage door products and services.

Provide product demonstrations and explaining features, benefits, and pricing.

Negotiate contracts and closing sales while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitors.

Collaborate with other team members, such as installers or customer service representatives, to ensure a positive customer experience.

Maintaining accurate sales records and reporting on sales activity.

Qualifications

2+ years in a relationship driven, commission orientated sales role.

Proven success in closing sales in a timely manner (one call closes are great but not always possible).

Ability to drive throughout the greater Portland metro to meet potential clients at their homes or businesses.

Team player mentality, the sale is just one part of a bigger picture.

Garage door experience is a plus!
