- Seeking remote sales agent (Road Warrior), for multi state travel (1099 position)
- Optical frame wholesaler since 1986
- Must be comfortable in professional environment (optometric offices)
- Calling exclusively on optometrist and licenced opticians (Three times per year).
- Promoting new styles and replenishing customers inventory
- Repeat sales with protected territory. (Scheduling apts. From one trip to the next), (fitting in cold calls in between appointments.)
- Partially established territory, (suggested travel route provided).
- Entry level, with training provided (if needed).
- Must enjoy driving, travel adventures and being away from home.
- Operating on a tight schedule of multiple calls per day.
- Road Warrior inquiries welcomed.
- Former or retired road reps resumes also welcomed (requires basic computer knowledge only).
- This is an adventure, (building a territory), following a suggested route and seeing the country, where days are never the same (never boring).
Ideal candidate:
- Should reside within one hour drive of Portland airport.
- Must be free to travel week long including some weekends.
- Must have vehicle, available for travel.
- Requires some sales experience (fashion sales an asset). Optical experience also an asset (but not required).
- Agent services required for 10 months per year.
- July & December are off (those months are commission based only)
