Koru is an independent Tier 2 cannabis producer in Hillsboro, Oregon seeking a qualified, self-

motivated, organized and knowledgeable Sales Person for immediate hire into the Sales Department

for the Oregon cannabis marketplace.

The ideal candidate is responsible for marketing and selling the facility’s products to other marijuana

establishments (b2b sales), ensuring the durability of such b2b relationships and working to build

the positive perception Koru’s brand by both businesses and individuals within the cannabis

community. A successful sales person will be able to maximize sales within a defined territory to

maximize company revenue and profit through current and new business accounts utilizing their

superb work ethic, strong communication skills and adept sales capability.

Description

B2B sales of marijuana flower, infused and non-infused pre-rolls, and concentrates produced by

Koru to licensed marijuana production and dispensary facilities.

Work with the Sales team and company leadership to develop and implement community-focused

marketing and outreach efforts.

Work with production staff and company leadership to align production with shifting market

conditions and demands with respect to the variety of strains of marijuana and product types

produced by Koru.

Work as part of a team to develop lead generation and achieve sales goals.

Work with support staff to prepare sales orders and all related regulatory paperwork.

Enthusiastically apply their talents, education and experience to drive sales growth and positive

community image of the company.

Communicate with and arrange payment for 3rd party distributors when applicable

Job requirements

 2+ years Business-to-business sale experience (preferred)

 Knowledge of cannabis industry

 Full or partial college coursework directly applicable to sales, marketing or horticulture

(preferred)

 METRC knowledge and understanding of OLCC compliance expectations

 Clean driving record

 Ability to travel long distances

 OLCC marijuana worker permit

 Must be 21 years of age

 Proficiency with basic office suite software and communication tools (slack/signal etc.)

 Ability to adopt new systems and technology.

What we offer:

 Salary base + commission (negotiable)

 Salary range from 80k - 120k (annual)

 Travel and fuel Reimbursement

 Budget for incidental expenses

 Portland, OR: Relocate before starting work (Required)
