Job description
ONE Security Company (OSC) is conducting immediate interviews to fill an open, part-time OVERNIGHT Security Professional position in Wood Village, Oregon. This is a part-time position which guarantees 16 hrs (two 8-hour shifts) per week. Additional hours may become available, but are not guaranteed.
For transparency, the interview process involves a screening phone call (10 min), a virtual interview with the company founders (30 min), and potentially an in-person site visit (30 minutes).
JOB SUMMARY:
· Watches for suspicious and irregular behavior at sites, such as security concerns, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel as required.
· Remain alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approach suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate. Allow access for authorized visitors and employees.
· Completes digital standardized reports.
· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
JOB SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
· Basic knowledge of computers.
· Ability to walk and climb stairs.
· Ability to see and hear accurately in both day and nighttime conditions.
· Ability to understand and apply company policies, procedures, concepts and to be able to respond using discretion and interpretive judgment based on general and specific policies.
· Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.
· Ability to maintain detailed reports and complete them in a timely manner.
· Ability to apply common sense, training while safely handling emergency situations.
· Knowledge of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid (Training Provided if needed)
· Ability to learn the layout of the site and specific areas assigned.
· Skills in operating portable radio devices and phones.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
· Free from felony convictions and ability to earn a DPSST security guard license. One Security pays for all training and licensing and walks you through the process.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
