- 710 years of technical, hands-on experience in similar datacenter and infrastructure engineering roles.
- Ideal candidate would be someone with at least 7 years of deep networking expertise with multiple large global organizations with multiple different technologies (looking for breadth and depth of experience given candidates will be supporting a number of different projects).
- Significant experience and expertise in infrastructure design and build, particularly in networking technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, DNS, and related technologies.
- Experience working with Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and iterative planning using tools such as Azure DevOps
- Well-versed in infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, Ansible, PowerShell, TerraForm, and similar automation and orchestration technologies
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM / ITIL) and IT Operations and have experience enabling and operationalizing new technologies for service teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent professional experience
- An infrastructure subject matter expert that is passionate about transformative, innovative, resilient, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure technologies
- Someone that enjoys collaborative work and technical mentoring with peers and junior members of the IaaS team.
- An active listener and effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Someone with a strong affinity for creating and maintaining technical documentation
- A self-starter, self-motivated and an analytical thinker.
- PCI experience not mandatory but highly beneficial
- Key technologies: Cisco, Palo Alto, CloudGenix.
- Focus on WAN expertise particularly with SD-WAN and edge (firewall)
- Experienced working following Agile methodologies (scrums, sprints, refinements, etc.)
- Network-centric security experience (secure network configurations, best practices, common security controls)
- Emphasis on creating/building documentation
- Azure WAN (vWAN hubs)
- Azure Log Analytics Workspaces (LAW) and Azure Sentinel
- Network router/switch/firewall logging & log management
- Mainland China WAN experience
- Experience with Netscalers (Citrix ADC)
- Ansible / Ansible Tower
- Network monitoring technologies (various types and vendors)
