Temporary Warehouse Position
Picking, Packing, Shipping and Product Assembly
(Jan, 7th through Mar 25th 2025)
Location: St. John’s (North Portland, OR)
HGNR Inc, specialty distributor of products in the Bicycle Industry, is looking for a temporary employee to work in our warehouse from Tuesday Jan, 7th through Tuesday Mar 25th 2025. Workdays are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 12 to 30 hours per week. This position is responsible for Picking, Packing, Shipping, Product Assembly and other warehouse tasks as assigned. Experience useful, but not required as we will train the right person.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
Daily picking, packing, shipping, and quality assurance.
Product assembly including quality control.
Experience useful, but not mandatory, as we will train the right person.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Accurate and timely completion of daily activities.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Must follow all safety procedures.
Able to use a tape gun, box knife and scale.
Able to operate our bottling pump, tipping & capping tools and labeling machine.
NECESSARY PERSONAL QUALITIES:
Attention to detail, organized and cooperative.
Self-starting, self-directing and able to take initiative.
Interested and motivated to work for a small business.
PAY and HOURS:
Pay: $19.00 per hour. Bonus for completion of work period and efficient, accurate, and timely completion of daily activities.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 12 to 30 hours per week depending on workload. Weekends occasionally required.
