Peachtree Gifts is a card and gift shop in the heart of Multnomah Village. We are currently seeking a part-time retail sales associate.
We are looking for someone who is very enthusiastic, outgoing, detail-oriented, organized, personable, and energetic.
We are hoping to find someone with a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekday and weekend shifts, with an interest in working for a small business in a thriving business community!
Job Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and a friendly welcoming demeanor with customers
Tag merchandise with price tags with care
Help customers find the perfect gift
Welcome and greet customers
Help to sell the merchandise by being knowledgeable about the items in the store
Keep store looking organized, stocked, and clean
Be a keyholder, open and close the store using our operational procedures
Job Requirements:
Able to bring energy and a friendly disposition to other co-workers and customers
Experience in retail sales and customer service
Very comfortable on a computer and ipad. Knowledge of a POS system strongly preferred
Able to multi-task and be a quick learner
Personable and enjoy working with people
Able to stand for 8 hours and able to lift 30 pounds if needed (boxes, trash etc)
For this position we are looking for someone who is 18 and over
This position is part-time, 15-20 hours per week.
Example Schedule:
Tuesdays 2-6
Wednesdays 9:30-1
Thursdays 2-6
Saturdays 11-4
Sundays 12-3
Additional shifts and hours will be needed in the busy fall and holiday season. We are always looking for people who can work holiday weekends.
