Powell's Books has an opening for Operations Team Manager at our Burnside location.

The Operations Team Manager is critical to store operations, and oversees a team of Operations Managers to carry out the day-to-day functions of the Burnside store in the areas of safety, loss prevention, security, and customer service. This position contributes to the development of a culture that emphasizes exceptional customer service, continuous operational improvement, and high performance of all staff and management team members. With the Burnside Leadership Team, the Operations Team Manager shares responsibility for the financial success of the store, implementing and furthering the company’s vision, and strengthening the company’s reputation as an amazing bookselling institution.

Pay: $25.49 per hour or more, depending on experience.

Schedule: The schedule for this position is to be determined, but may include a mix of opening, mid, and closing shifts, and will likely include at least one weekend day. This position is Full-time/Exempt/Salaried.
