Fresh & Wild is an online specialty foods distributor serving professional chefs and enthusiastic home cooks.
We’re seeking a new member of our operations team to:
Fulfill orders for wild mushrooms, fresh truffles, specialty produce and hard to find pantry goods.
Repack food products into new containers.
Pick up produce from our suppliers, and deliver to Portland restaurant customers. During hot weather, drive packages to the PDX airport in our refrigerated cargo van.
Inspect, weigh and receive dry goods and produce.
Sort, trim and chop produce.
Hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday – Thursday and 9:00 to 1:00 on Friday. Weekends free!
2 weeks Paid Time Off (sick & vacation), plus paid major holidays.
Located in Vancouver, about 15 minutes from the PDX airport, with easy access to I-5 and I-205.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to drive a large Sprinter-type cargo van, navigating with mirrors and a back-up camera.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and qualify for a TSA security badge.
Must be good with numbers and software. Quickbooks, Zoho or other inventory management system experience a plus.
This is primarily a warehouse environment, and you must be comfortable with extreme temperatures.
