We are looking for an organized and thorough Warehouse Lead to manage our warehouse operation.

We have approximately 645 beverage and snack items – non-refrigerated and refrigerated.

The candidate must have at least two years of warehouse experience and be dependable, reliable, and honest.

Soda Express is a local beverage and snack distribution company focusing on new and emerging brands and National “Fortune 500” brands.

We are a DSD organization. We distribute and merchandise – not in every account but in many independent and C-Store accounts.

Our customers are from a wide spectrum of businesses: Nike, Adidas, Intel, Oregon & Washington school districts, grocery, dispensaries, hospitals, medical offices, food service, independent, and c-store accounts.

Hours

Warehouse Lead - typical schedule: 9am - 6pm, varies.

Orders are reach to be picked and loaded by 3pm daily.

Office Hours: 9am – 4:30pm

Weekends off. Nights home. Great work/life balance.

Wage & Benefits

$20 - $25 per hour, DOE

2 years warehouse experience required

Job Duties

Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (we currently have two trucks to load nightly)

Receiving and processing delivered inventory from suppliers (Suppliers such as Pepsi, Coke, Columbia, Werner Snacks, Nantucket Nectar, Martinelli’s, Etc).

Stock and rotate inventory using FIFO (first in first out) standards

Picking up palletized and non-palletized orders from local suppliers

Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Performing warehouse inventory controls and maintaining quality standards for inventory audits.

Packing products based on customer preferences and company guidelines.

Ensuring the integrity of the final product by preventing damage / reporting damaged product to the office manager.

Keep the warehouse environment safe and clean.

Perform basic routine maintenance on equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, coolers, etc). Responsible for communicating maintenance needs of equipment. We will address all maintenance concerns.

Requirements

Two years warehouse experience

Valid driver’s license

Good driving record with no traffic violations

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and transport up to 50lbs

Ability to operate dolly, forklifts, and pallet jacks in a variety of seasonal weather and traffic conditions

Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

High school degree

Criminal history - we address on a case by case basis. A background check is required to deliver to certain customers

Physical Demand

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands in a variety of manners, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and talk or hear to communicate effectively.

The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 - 90 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
