Beaumont hardware is looking for a flexible, friendly, outgoing cashier. You must be able to multitask while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. The cashier's interpersonal influence and accurate handling of the financial exchange is critical to the customer's overall experience with the company.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Greeting, interacting with customers, standing, and ringing up customer purchases in our Point of Sale system at the front register
Processing cash, debit and credit transactions
Answer phones and customer questions while ringing up sales
Effectively and politely deal with difficult customers and/or product returns
Maneuver hardware and associated items up to 60 pounds
Assist with online warehouse orders and rental items
Other duties as assigned
