Job description
We are seeking a dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional and communicative. Must have a minimum of two years of experience managing an affordable multifamily property. This position requires general knowledge of all property management duties and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain positive relationships with community members
- Handle resident inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct tours of the community and showcase available units to potential residents
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including lease signings and renewals
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify references
- Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment processing
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure prompt resolution
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new residents
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
Travel between 3 properties and assist as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Affordable Multifamily Housing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and upselling abilities
- Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of facilities management principles is a plus
- Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
