THE BASICS
Pay: $20 - $22 per hour, depending on experience
Required part-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-5:30pm (27.5 hours per week)
Optional full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm (40 hours per week, half hour daily lunch)
THE JOB IN A NUTSHELL
Answering phones
Reception (greeting walk-ins, helping customers check in/ out, etc)
Running the front office of our busy RV repair shop alongside our Office Lead
Scheduling estimate and repair appointments with callers
Light bookkeeping (input vendor receipts and invoices into QuickBooks – training can be provided for the right candidate)
Writing repair estimates alongside Office Lead and/or shop owner (training provided)
Ordering parts/ inventory management
Keeping the front office clean/ tidy
Keeping inventory parts out in the shop tidy
MUST HAVES
Availability Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-5:30pm
Customer service experience
Good people skills (you’ll be working with the public every day)
Friendly phone demeanor
Ability to perform your duties without being supervised (after training period, of course)
Willingness to perform a wide variety of duties, some of which may be outside the office, in the shop (inventory, parts receiving, etc.)
Willingness to pitch in when needed (sometimes that means out in the shop – for example, wiping down and vacuuming RVs before they leave, etc.)
NICE-TO-HAVES
QuickBooks experience (we use QuickBooks Desktop)
Excel experience (we use Excel for our estimates, among many other tasks)
Reception/phone answering experience

Our ideal new hire is laid back, able to look on the bright side of things, and dependable - show up to work consistently and on time.We're looking for someone who is friendly on the phone and caring (and patient) toward the many callers we talk to every day.
The successful candidate will be able to handle the hectic pace of the RV industry during the camping season (spring, summer & fall), but also be able to keep themselves busy/productive in our slower Winter season with inventory, organizing the shop/ parts, and tidying up bookkeeping.
