Job Summary

Hiring part-time or full-time accounting clerk to join our team. You will process daily expense transactions, maintain and route shared emails, and provide additional support. Must understand accounting principles, be technologically proficient in business software, organized, and be willing to help and grow in your responsibilities. This person will work closely with our project managers, bookkeeping staff and material buyer. The accounting clerk supports day-to-day accounting departmental needs, including processing accurate and timely AR, AP and expenses under the supervision of the Owner and other bookkeeping staff.

Responsibilities

Process Accounts Payable

Process Accounts Receivable

Obtain and maintain vendor and customer records, e.g., W9’s, reseller’s permits, etc. in digital formats.

Code Credit Card Transactions.

Manage shared accounting emails.

Digitize financial records.

Other projects and support as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

At least 2 years of relevant professional or educational experience.

Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to prioritize and organize efficiently.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Collaborative mindset.
