Clean Energy Program Coordinator

COMPENSATION

$27.81/hour ($57,845 per year), paid sick and vacation; fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance; and other benefits listed below.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Clean Energy Program Coordinator (PC) provides timely and effective coordination of CEP’s retrofitting and repair programs. They will coordinate the intake, scheduling, and client relations for the Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF) team. They are expected to provide excellent customer service and build trust with clients in a respectful and culturally competent manner. They are responsible for supporting the PCEF Manager with inputting and maintaining program-related data for reporting and communications. They are also responsible for supporting Program Managers and Auditors with client scheduling and communication.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Coordination

Coordination with subcontractors and clients for scheduling and check-ins before, during and after repair and efficiency work.

Help support management in the completion of construction projects based on the scope of work, as well as providing internal reporting to management on the status of projects.

Ensure compliance with PCEF contract requirements: prepare quarterly reports and attend partner meetings, submit documentation to ensure program compliance.

Gain a general knowledge of construction methods, energy efficiency, and a basic knowledge of HVAC and electrical and plumbing to support management.

Track funding of projects across multiple funding sources, and work within the In-Homes Team and with the Finance team to ensure the correct recording and accounting.

Assist In-Homes managers with outreach, marketing, and communications around the program, as needed.

Providing guidance to team members on the program requirements and providing operations support to colleagues including managing shared data

Support Communications team with PCEF funded media creation by collecting client stories, helping to schedule clients and other duties.

Support Advocacy team to organize PCEF funded client listening sessions by inviting clients and coordinating their participation.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Client Coordination and Support

Coordinate client intake: screening, identifying critical needs, providing information and answering questions about the services we offer, and scheduling. Create and maintain internal client files.

Create, and maintain client education materials, and distribute them to clients to provide information on the repairs and installs in their homes.

Responsible for data entry and maintenance of client data into Salesforce and other databases.

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in office administration, program coordination, or construction coordination. Experience working with seniors, people experiencing disabilities, low-income communities, and communities of color preferred.

Must be able to create thorough, accurate and informative reports based on program data to meet contract requirements of funders.

Knowledge of, or interest in, home energy scores, home repair, energy efficiency, home heating and cooling systems (HVAC), CEP’s mission is preferred.

Experience with Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Suite is strongly preferred.

Bicultural/Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, or Vietnamese preferred

Experience with data management, data analysis, reporting, and program evaluation is crucial

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a vehicle.

Strong writing and editing skills for developing client-facing reports, manuals, and content.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbally—able to manage and communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups of people in a variety of manners, ability to convey information to clients, and maintain strict confidentiality.

Demonstrated personal or professional experience with culturally-informed services to diverse and traditionally underserved groups (e.g. BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, low-income) is highly desirable.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

3 Days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with Monday and Friday work from home

The position requires extensive time sitting in front of a computer
