LifeWorks NW's Intensive Community-Based Treatment Services (ICTS) program provides intensive treatment services conducted in the home and/or community for youth ages 3 to 18 and their families.

PURPOSE: Assesses and diagnoses youth experiencing mental health issues and behavioral problems. Provides appropriate treatment and/or consultation with families, care providers, and community partners about treatment options.Â

HOURS: This is a full-time positionÂworking primarily daytime office hours. On-call crisis phone rotation is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:Â

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work or a mental health related field, etc. (QMHP) required.

Requires ability to carry rotating pager/cell phone for specified rotation times. While carrying a pager/cell phone must have ability to respond immediately to crisis calls by phone or in person as needed.

Requires access to a car, a valid driver's license, proof of current automobile insurance coverage, andÂable to meet LifeWorks NW driving requirements.

More than 1 year experience in broad range of clinical interventions and mental health assessments specific to children, adolescents and families.

Demonstrated ability to conduct an assessment, including identifying precipitating events, gathering histories of mental and physical health, alcohol and other drug use, past mental health services and criminal justice contacts, assessing family, social and working relationships and conducting a mental status examination; complete a five-axis DSM diagnosis; write and supervise the implementation of an Individual Service and Support Plan; and provide individual, family and/or group therapy within the scope of their training.

Demonstrated ability to provide culturally-competent treatment services to diverse client populations and maintains cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of treatment methods for individual, family and group therapy to address mental health needs.

Demonstrated ability to provide case management services in accordance with federal, state and/or funding source requirements as well as LifeWorks' policies and procedures.

Knowledge of community resources and treatment agencies enabling appropriate referrals for specific client needs.

Knowledge of medications commonly used by client population.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word. Ability to master proprietary software including electronic health record system required.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) fluency preferred but not required.Â
