Local nonprofit independent retirement home is hiring for Maintenance department.
What it is: Fast paced and fun – free of micromanagement. Healthy, rewarding work. You fix basic stuff in apartments – everything from leaking sinks to small electrical problems to damaged walls. Learn new things daily! Sometimes you check on our most vulnerable residents. You help refurbish apartments for new tenants. Minimal paperwork – lots of creative problem-solving. No day is the same. Our residents will shower you with appreciation and our staff will always treat you with decency and respect.
No experience, no problem, we are willing to train. A great way to get started on what can be an excellent career. Have experience? We need good people, room to grow. We promote from within whenever possible.
Must be able to pass a background check and able to work with a diverse group of people including the elderly and disabled.
90-day review, eligible for Medical and Dental insurance after 90 days
Paid Holidays, One week of vacation after one year.
