We are a small shop looking to add a few fabricators as we ramp up production. You will be expected to work alone and as part of a team as the project requires.
Welding- Mig dual-shield .045" wire. Material from 3/16" thick to 1" thick. Most welding is done flat with some out of
position. Ability to weld out of position not required. We can work around that. I will certify you 1G
Fabrication- Mostly structural, some small parts, some of the equipment we make can be a little complex but most things are fairly straight forward
What I am looking for- I need an employee that can show up to work on a regular basis and get along with others.
Someone that can read prints and do tasks without a lot of supervision but can also follow
written and verbal instructions as well. A good attitude is a must.
Skill set- The ability to read and interpret prints
obviously the ability to weld
use of basic hand tools
operate horizontal band saw
ability to run a manual metal lathe (not required)
use grinders and drill presses and other shop equipment.
need the ability to learn and retain information and training on any of the above equipment
I am offering a nice work environment. This is not assembly line production work. Every day is different. I view us as a team. This is not what you can do for me or what I can do for you. It is what we can achieve together. . I work part time on the shop floor as well.
Please email a simple list of past employment with dates and job duties and a short statement about your abilities and contact information. This is the first test of your ability to follow instructions.
Thank you for your consideration
