Machinist responsible for operating fabrication machines, CNC lathes, automated drill presses, mills, shot blast machines, drill and tap machines, forming machines, vibratory machines, belt sanders, grinders, wire wheel and punches that cut, shape, and clean/finish die cast parts, and gantry alignments.
Work Hours: This location works 12s Monday to Friday 5PM-5:30AM. Some work weeks are Monday to Thursday. Some are Tuesday to Friday. Overtime applies after 40 hours.

Essential duties:
Operates manual or automated machines, including CNC lathes and milling centers and robot load/unload stations.
Cleans and inspects manufactured products.
Load and unloads parts into machine work holding devices.
Performs quality inspections to verify part conformance to specifications. Including CMM operation.
Records QA/SPC/VSPC data as required by individual job/part numbers.
May perform hand or power debur or sanding operations to meet customers specifications.
Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, greasing chucks, filling coolant, and changing fitters.
Qualifications:
Prior work as machinist.

Wages:
New hires generally start at $22/hour.
Salary range for this role is $22-$35

Vacation accrual is as follows based on the employee's length of service.
0-4 years accrues at 1.54 hours per week worked with an annual accrual of 80 hours maximum.
5-14 years accrues at 2.31 hours per week worked with an annual accrual of 120 hours maximum.
15-19 years accrues at 3.08 hours per week worked with an annual accrual of 160 hours maximum.
20 years or more accrues at 3.85 hours per week worked with an annual accrual of 200 hours maximum.
