Job Summary:

The Production Assembler I performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations, under well-defined instructions and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.

Job Core Responsibilities

Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures

Reviews shop traveler route card, or uncomplicated schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation

Position very small parts such as ceramic board, crystals, gages, fine pins, fire wire, solder particles and epoxy under binocular microscope using tweezers or positioning fixtures

Adjusts, bends, aligns and solders fine wires to resistors and base parts

Bonds or seals parts or assemblies with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens and performs a variety of in-process testing

Demonstrates all safety policies and procedures

Other responsibilities as assigned

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Job Specifications

Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is preferred.

Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field

Years Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience

Skills:

Good mechanical aptitude

Able to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery

Capable of performing basic mathematics

Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedure

Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts

Able to problem-solve using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks

Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills

Job Title: FAA Test Technician – 1 Opening

SAFETY SENSITIVE ROLE - SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG TESTING

Candidates will need to take our Work Instruction Simulation

1st Shift: 4/10 Work Schedule (Mon - Thurs)

6am - 4:30pm

Pay rate range: $25 - $27/hr

Test Technician (FAA Safety Sensitive)

JOB SUMMARY

Under minimum supervision will perform test functions per Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP’s) using meters, scopes, and other general/special test equipment to validate the performance of the product. This will require the accurate recording of test data and verification of pass/reject criteria. Will complete complex test set ups as required by procedures. Perform detailed and sometimes complicated troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems to determine cause. Some computer transactions are required for closing out work orders, entering Material Reject Reports (MRR), write formal failure analysis and be familiar with e-mail. Will conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing. Provide training to other technicians and aid in troubleshooting with other departments. Redline incorrect procedures and coordinate with engineering to get corrected. The Test Technician will be performing, ready to perform, or eligible to perform safety-sensitive work and therefore will be part a Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. The Program includes random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing.

Job Core Responsibilities

Sets up test equipment and tests per specification

Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the component level

Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering

Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies and procedures

Assists other departments with tasks in other production cells/locations

Maintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rules

FAA - PRODUCT REPAIR TECHNICIAN - 2 openings

Pay Rate Range: $25- $28/hr (more experience candidates can bring in higher wage)

4/10 Work Schedule (Mon - Thurs)

6am - 4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:

The Product Repair Technician performs inspections, tests, troubleshoots and repairs on customer returned equipment, in accordance with rules and regulations. Provides an efficient and effective repair service that meets company and departmental obligations and objectives. The Product Repair Technician will be performing, ready to perform, or eligible to perform safety-sensitive work and therefore will be part of a Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. The Program includes random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing.

Job Core Responsibilities

Performs teardowns, overhauls and functional testing of various repair station products and items

Ensures that all repair work is performed according to procedures and per correct document revision

Assists in the development and implementation of product improvement initiatives

Inspects, tests, troubleshoots and repairs shop equipment as required

Completes necessary trainings to maintain knowledge and skills required for job performance

Performs documentation of all repairs and re-certifications of equipment according to regulatory, customer and departmental requirements

Excellent technical knowledge and skills in product repair

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Proven troubleshooting skills to component level on complex electronic circuits

Ability to recognize and solve typical problems that can occur in own work area; evaluates and selects solutions from established options

Computer proficient

· Participate in all team meetings

· Assist in other departments as needed.

· May perform other duties as assigned by management.

Must be able to read a ruler, micrometer, and calipers. Familiar with the use of hand tools, as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers etc. Must have good eye/hand coordination. Computer skills required such as data input, word documents etc. Must have the ability to read complex instructions, blueprints and schematics.

Must have knowledge of manufacturing processes in order to troubleshoot rejects and failures. Possess basic knowledge of electronic testing equipment and their operation. Ability to interpret and follow engineering prototype sketches. Assist in design changes with Engineering. Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as, safety rules, operating and manufacturing instructions, and Company policies and procedures. Have the ability to clearly communicate with all internal and external customers in English. Attention to detail is a must.
